St. Chrysostom's Day School is a member of the National Association of Episcopal Schools. As an Episcopal school, we celebrate the spiritual dimension of learning that values both faith and reason.

One way we accomplish this is through our two Chapel programs. We have weekly, embedded In-Class Chapels and monthly All-School Chapels. In our Chapels, we introduce young people to the joys and mysteries of faith. We invite them to consider two questions: What is God’s relationship to my imagination? What is my part in God’s story?

In-Class Chapel

Our weekly, embedded In-Class Chapels invite children to sing, pray, learn Scripture through Story and to build safe, sacred community. Together, we learn God's story beginning with creation, moving through the prophets, celebrate the birth and ministry of Jesus, concluding the year discerning together what God is calling us to do.

All-School Chapel

Our monthly All-School Chapel brings together our morning, afternoon and all-day sessions. Students, parents, teachers, friends and caregivers gather in St. Chrysostom's Church for worship through music, story and celebration.

Worship begins at 11:45 in St. Chrysostom's Church. A festive luncheon immediately follows chapel in the gym. All are invited.
