The Church School at St. Chrysostom’s welcomes children age three through fifth grade on Sunday mornings during the 10 a.m. Christian Formation hour. Beginning Church School at 10 a.m. allows children to attend the 9 a.m. Family Eucharist or the 11 a.m. service of worship. The goal of our church school program is to have fun while learning the stories of the Bible and the history of the church, and for our children to be integrated into the whole life of the church community.
At St. Chrysostom's, we are intentional about reverent and relevant worship, Christian formation and education for all ages, and active and responsive outreach ministries. As people of faith, we seek to broaden our understanding of God, to deepen our awareness of God's presence, and to live a full and meaningful Christian life.
Most services on Sunday include music and our professional organists and choir.
Weekly meetings are held at the church for Bible Study, children's choir, fellowship groups for men, women and youth, the Employment Council, 12-step programs, outreach and other groups. Frequent concerts and recitals feature the parish's virtuoso staff, local and international musicians and the church's Fisk organ.
